Updates
April 5, 2009
Sorry we haven't updated for the past 3 years; we've just been too busy helping needy animals! A lot has happened since our last update.
--TBF paid for veterinary and maintenance care for a number of animals belonging to owners of limited means
--Two stray dogs (Miller and Rosco) were rescued and placed in homes
--Donations were made to several animal rescue organizations for emergencies, including: TEARS and USERL (the 8 starving Clarke County, VA, horses)
--Two rescued wire haired fox terriers were placed in permanent Bucket foster homes. (Sadly one of the pups, Emma, appears to have long term health issues with allergies.)
--TBF provided veterinary care and expenses for the horribly injured 13 year old Keeshond Cocha
--The formerly rescued and permanently fostered cat, Thomas, developed diabetes and TBF is assisting with the medical expenses; TBF is providing for the needs of several rescued cats in Tennessee, Virginia, and Alabama.
--TBF is permanently caring for 3 starved horses (the Wheeler Horses)
--In Madison County TBF made a large hay donation to help feed the horse "Coco" who was seized by Animal Control for owner neglect
--TBF paid the veterinary bills for the severely burned horse,  "Betty"
--TBF answered an appeal to "bail" a retiring racehorse to save him from being shipped to slaughter in Canada

The Bucket Foundation performed many other helpful deeds to better the lives of animals; those were just a few. TBF continues to help animals each and every day and appreciates your generous support.
